Ready for a fun and creative time? Come join us for this DOUBLE SIDED drum lampshade workshop where you'll learn how to make a stunning double sided lampshade using a combination of fabric and wallpaper! You'll learn a new skill, pick up expert tricks, and let your personal style shine! We'll teach you how to cut your fabric, apply your wallpaper, roll the shade, and master the art of 'tucking' for that neat, professional finish, and bring home a stunning, bespoke double sided lampshade measuring 30cm diameter x 21cm high! Cecilia will provide the materials, but you'll need to bring your own fabric and / or wallpaper (a combination of them both will look great!) - we recommend a fabric in firm cotton or medium-weight linen, and avoid anything too thick (velvet), stretchy (lycra) or loosely woven (hessian) and a wallpaper that is not too thick (if you choose to use this on the inside instead of fabric). Please bring at least two pieces of 40cm x 120 cm of fabric (which has to be ironed beforehand) OR one piece of 40cm x 120 cm of ironed fabric + 40cm x 120 cm of wallpaper (chose one where the pattern can be railroaded!) But don't stress - there'll be a small in-house selection of both fabric and wallpaper available to purchase on the day for an extra 5 each. Cancellation Policy
I keep my workshop sizes relatively small, in order to ensure that everyone benefits from the attention that they need during the course. For this reason I'm unable to offer you a full refund, unless you cancel up to 21 days before the workshop starts. For cancellations within 21 days, no refund is offered, but you have three options: * You can transfer your booking to another person (please email me the name of your replacement) OR * You can choose to receive one Lampshade Making craft kit (includes all parts and detailed instructions, you just need your desired fabric) OR * You may transfer to another date if you inform me at least 10 days before the start of the workshop.
